Mash is a relaxed wedding venue in Henley Brook, in the heart of the Swan Valley and about 30 minutes from Perth. Ceremonies on the lawn, receptions for up to 200 guests, and beer poured metres from the tanks it was brewed in. No booking fee, ever.
A Swan Valley wedding that feels like a really good afternoon
Mash has been part of the Swan Valley since 2006. We brew everything on site in Henley Brook, cook honest food to go with it, and we have spent twenty years learning how to look after a room full of people who want to eat, drink and stay a while.
Most Swan Valley wedding venues are wineries. We are a working brewery with a restaurant attached, which makes for a different kind of day: less formal, more relaxed, and a lot easier for guests who would rather have a cold beer than a tasting flight.
That is exactly what a wedding reception is. If you want white linen and a five course degustation, there are venues down the road that do it beautifully. If you want your people on long tables under the marquee with cold beer, big platters and no one checking their watch, that is us.
We are family friendly and dog friendly, there is a play area for the kids, and the beer garden means guests can spread out instead of being locked into one room all night.
No booking fee
We do not charge a venue hire fee to hold your date. You pay for food and drinks, not for the privilege of being here.
Brewed on site
Every Mash beer is made in the 1200 litre brewhouse behind the bar. Your guests can watch it happen while they drink it.
Indoor and out
Marquees, lawns, a shaded terrace with mist sprays and an indoor dining room. Weather has a plan B built in.

The Beer Garden
Open air and sun soaked, our biggest space and the usual home for a ceremony. Room to spread out on the grass, room to mingle, and the bar never far away.

The Zoo
Our most popular function space and the natural home for a reception. Big, lively and made for celebrating, with long tables, speeches and dancing all in one room.
The Parlour
A more contained, characterful space for mid size weddings. Ideal for a smaller guest list, a winter date, or a corner of your own once the sun goes down.
Spaces can be combined, and the full venue is available on selected dates for larger weddings. Guests under 18 need their legal guardian with them at all times and are not permitted in the marquee area. Send us your date and guest count and we will tell you honestly which spot fits.
Drink packages
One price per head, all guests on the same package, no maths at the bar. Packages start at your confirmed reservation time.

Drink tabs can be set up on arrival instead of a package if you would rather cap the spend that way.
Every beverage package has to be paired with a pre ordered food package.
Everyone in the booking goes on the same package. No exceptions, it is the only way it works fairly.
Cocktails and spirits outside the rail range are charged on consumption.
Alcohol is served in line with RSA legislation, and our team can refuse service where they need to.

Food pre orders are required for bookings over 15 guests and need at least seven days notice. Talk to us about allergens before the day. Our kitchen is not coeliac safe. Sit down a la carte service is also available if platters are not the style you are after.

Email or call with your date, rough numbers and whether you want a ceremony on site. We will tell you straight away if the date is free.

Come and see it
Walk the marquee and the lawns, have a beer, ask the awkward questions. Site visits are by appointment so we can give you proper time.

Secure it
A pre authorisation of $15 per head through NowBookit holds the booking. You are not charged if the terms are met.

Our functions manager works through your food and drink choices, then payment is made in full on final confirmation.
Wedding venue in Henley Brook, Swan Valley
Mash sits on West Swan Road in Henley Brook, right in the middle of the Swan Valley wine region and about 30 minutes from the Perth CBD.
That location does a lot of work on a wedding day. Guests coming from Perth, Midland, Ellenbrook or Guildford are all within a short drive, there is parking on site, and the wineries, distilleries and chocolate makers the valley is known for are minutes away for anyone making a weekend of it. Bus groups arrive here constantly for tours, so putting on a shuttle for your guests is routine rather than a special request.

Where is the venue?
Mash is at 10250 West Swan Road, Henley Brook WA 6055, in the middle of the Swan Valley and about 30 minutes from the Perth CBD. There is parking on site and we host bus groups regularly.
Can we hold the ceremony here as well as the reception?
Yes, the lawns are the usual spot. You arrange your own celebrant and we set the area up. Let us know at enquiry stage so we can block out the extra time before the reception.
Do you charge venue hire?
No. There is no booking fee and no room hire. You pay for food and drinks. Minimum spends do apply, so get in touch and we will confirm what applies to your date.
How many guests can you take?
Up to 200 in the Beer Garden or The Zoo and 100 in The Parlour. Spaces can be combined, and the full venue is available on selected dates for larger weddings. Send us your numbers and we will match you to the right area.
Is there a bar tab option instead of a package?
Yes. Tabs can be arranged on arrival and capped at whatever figure you set. Packages work out better value for longer receptions, tabs suit shorter ones.
Can we bring our own alcohol or cake?
No outside alcohol comes into the venue, and none can be taken out. Talk to us about cake, we are happy to work with your baker.
What about kids and dogs?
Both welcome. There is a dedicated play area and the beer garden is dog friendly. Guests under 18 need their legal guardian with them at all times and are not permitted in the marquee area.
Do you cater for dietaries?
Vegetarian and gluten free options are available and we will work around most requirements with notice. Please tell us early. Our kitchen is not coeliac safe, so we cannot guarantee a coeliac safe meal.
Is there parking, and can we put on a bus?
There is parking on site and we host bus groups constantly, so a shuttle for your guests is easy to arrange. Give us the bus company details when you book.
